Membership Qualifications

You must meet the requirements of one of the categories listed below in order to join.

  1. Active Duty (Free) - Currently serving on active duty in the U.S., Canadian, NATO, or SEATO Armed Forces. This includes Reserve and National Guard on active duty > 89 days and commissioned officers serving in the USPHS or NOAA.
  2. U.S. Veteran ($65/Yr) - Have served honorably (retired, or prior service) in the U.S. Armed Forces (USA, USMC, USN, USAF, or USCG), including Reserve or National Guard.
  3. Other Veteran ($65/Yr) - Have served honorably (active, retired, or prior service) in the Armed forces of Canada or any member nation of NATO or SEATO.
  4. NOAA/USPHS ($65/Yr) - Have served honorably (active, retired, or prior service) as a commissioned officer of the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
  5. Copilot ($30/Yr) - Spouse or other who normally rides with you in your rig. Optional.

SMART Test Drive Membership

The SMART Test Drive Membership Program allows veterans to join now and defer your dues payment for six months. You must join and pay for the New Member Package ($15) online. Your trial membership is not free, when you renew in six months, you will pay for the first full year.
