South Central Region
The South Central Region is comprised of eight chapters in six states, including Arkansas (Hogs and Diamonds), Alabama (AL Smarts), NW Florida (Tri-State Panhandlers & White Sands), Louisiana (Cajuns), Mississippi (Magnolias), and Tennessee (Rocky Tops). In Alabama, Mississippi, NW Florida, and Louisiana we muster more in the Winter and Spring due to the hot Summers, and in Arkansas and Tennessee we muster mostly in Spring and Summer due to the wintery weather. When chapters are not camping, they will often hold "chow calls" which are meetings held in local restaurants.
Our musters consist of fellowship, game playing and dining. Occasionally a chapter will hold a rolling muster where they take a number of days to visit an area of a state, staying at different campgrounds along the way. Money is raised at musters through 50/50 drawings, auctions and raffles to help the different veterans organizations we support.

The Alabama SMARTs was organized in 2000. We have 3 to 4 musters a year. Since our membership overlaps with several other groups, we may have joint musters. A memorable one last year was a joint one with Mississippi when we all attended "To Kil a Mockingbird" in Monroeville, Alabama.
We always have good food, fun, and fellowship, plus games, and seeing new places.Click here for more information.

The SMART ARKANSAS HOGS chapter was founded February 13, 1992, and is one of the oldest Chapters. We support the SMART Regionals and National Musters with our attendance, and sponsor 3 to 4 Musters ourselves each year; one of which will be to Honor our Veterans and to attend a Veterans Ceremony.
We enjoy going on tours and attending festivals in our beautiful Natural State of Arkansas along with our neighboring states. We attend concerts, dinner theaters, tour museums and local historic sites, and of course, we find wonderful places to eat out. We always try to have at least one night for a potluck and our highly competitive games! In the winter months, we stay active and keep in touch with one another by meeting for lunch in various areas of our state. We welcome all visiting SMART members, guests, and prospect members to our musters for free. New SMART members are given the 1st year of membership for free. The Arkansas SMART HOGS have received the Outstanding Chapter Award for the past two years.

The SMART Cajuns Chapter is one of the largest chapters in SMART. We are a fun-loving group of 75+ members that normally holds a minimum of four, four-day musters a year in Louisiana and sometimes other states. Our signature muster is called the Yall Come and is always held every April at Poches RV N Fishing Camp in Breaux Bridge, LA. We do Cajun things like boil crawfish, cook cracklins, and fry fish. Our muster fee is $30 per couple and with that we provide four full breakfasts and four evening meals. Activities include card games, physical activity games, various crafts, and fishing and golf tournaments. Depending on the location, the muster host will sometimes schedule trips or tours in the local area and there are always plentiful places to shop. Door prizes are sometimes provided at the musters. We conduct 50/25/25 drawings and silent auctions to benefit our selected charity and perform flag retirement ceremonies. For the past four years, the Smart Cajun Chapter has received the Outstanding Chapter Award from SMART HQ. This chapter is also very involved in the Smart National Muster scheduled in October, 2017 in Rayne, LA and the chapter members are dedicated in helping to provide a unique experience for our Veterans and their spouses/friends.Click here for more information.

The Mississippi Magnolias are an enthusiastic group of about 35-40 rigs located in the southern part of the SC Region. We usually muster during the fall, winter and spring because of our location and where most of our members are living, all along the Gulf Coast.
Our musters consist mainly of three days of camaraderie. We cook and eat together, play card games, bean bag toss games, indoor baseball, tour local museums and business, go shopping, do trivia contests and seminars. We are always very active in the Regional and National musters and this year we are very involved in helping the 2017 National Muster in Rayne, LA.
Besides our muster activities, the MS Magnolias has donated each year to various organizations such as the Back Bay Mission of Biloxi, MS who helps homeless veterans and the Fisher House of Biloxi, MS. There is always an activity at each of our musters which provides a way to donate to these organizations whether it is 50/25/25 raffles, White Elephant Sales, Book Sales, Silent Auctions, etc.Click here for more information.

The Rocky Tops chapter was formed & chartered on April 14, 1994. We are one of eight chapters in the South Central region of SMART. We love to see the country that we defend.
We enjoy getting together three or four times a year for chapter musters as well as attending the South Central regional & the SMART National muster. Although chartered in Tennessee, we have many members from Kentucky & surrounding states. We live just far enough above the freeze line that many of us travel to warmer climes during the winter months & whenever possible, if there is enough of us at the same location, we hold a monthly get together to include a chapter meeting.
We are unique in that we take turns hosting most of our musters with the North Central regions Ohio Valley chapter and many of our members belong to both chapters. Our musters are comprised of a substantial breakfast, potlucks, cookouts, eatouts, crafts, board & card games etc (you name it & well try it) & group tours to all sorts of places. We are here to enjoy the RVing lifestyle!
We support the Wounded Warriors project at Ft Campbell, Ky & the Quilts of Valor foundation at the chapter level as well as individually.
We welcome any & all SMART members, prospective SMART & chapter members & guest to join us at our musters. We give the 1st years membership to the Rocky Tops chapter free to new SMART members. We feel that new SMART Members will get much more out of their membership if you join a local chapter. If interested, our contact names & numbers are on this web site, so YALL COME, YOU HEAR!Click here for more information.

The Tri-State Panhandlers Chapter of SMART is one of two chapters chartered in Northwest Florida. The chapter is one of the eight chapters in the South Central Region of SMART. The Tri-State Panhandlers were chartered in 1996 by a group of SMART members that met in the Pine Lake RV Park in Fountain Florida. We enjoy 5 weekend musters every other month beginning in January with a New Year's celebration and concluding in November with a Chapter anniversary celebration.
Each Chapter muster takes place in a RV park usually located in SE Alabama, SW Georgia or NW Florida. The specific park locations vary, as do the activities, entertainment and meals. Each of the musters is planned and presented by chapter members that serve as Muster Hosts. The most important aspects of all our musters are the fun, friendship and fellowship that take place in a variety of locations throughout the Tri-State area of the south. The Tri-State Panhandlers welcome all SMART current members and new members to our musters. Visitors, interested in learning what SMART has to offer, are also invited.Click here for more information.

The White Sands Chapter was organized in 1988 and was originally known as White Sands of Florida. It is a very social club. In January, March, May, September, and November we have luncheons, also known as chow calls, at various local restaurants. In February, April, October, and December we have member hosted get-togethers, also known as musters, at RV parks usually located in SE Alabama, SW Georgia, and NW Florida. We also have no host musters in June, July, and August.
At our musters we visit, socialize, go shopping, sightsee, play games, and eat amazing meals.Click here for more information.
