Introduction

The focus of the Florida Roadrunners is to keep alive the camaraderie of belonging and continued service to our country. We continue our service by supporting charities such as VA hospitals, the Wounded Warrior Project, Wreaths across America and local food banks to name a few.

Our musters focus on fun, fellowship and food! There are some wonderful meals prepared by our members and normally we find a local restaurant to have a meal together. Side trips to local points of interest are sometimes set up by the muster host. Our evenings are full of games, (hand and foot the most popular). Weather permitting a campfire may top off the day.

You may come as a stranger, but you will leave the muster as a friend and Roadrunner family member.

The SMART motto is "Seeing the Country We Defend" and the Florida Roadrunners attempt to give our members the opportunity to accomplish this goal. Currently, we hold musters in January, March, May, September and November. We can be found running the roads during those times to the RV parks in Florida and Georgia. We encourage everyone to attend and enjoy our musters, including the SMART regional and national musters. A lot of our members belong to more than one chapter so we attempt to coordinate our muster dates with other chapters in the area making it possible for our members to take advantage of camping with other SMART chapters. Our chapter welcomes all guests and members of SMART. If you are looking for a chapter to RV with, then come and run the roads with us.
