Introduction
Welcome to the Tri-State Travelers Chapter of the SMART Travel Club. Our Chapter was formed on 24 September 1988. Our members are from the Southeast and represent all six Services. We all share the common thread of “having served” and enjoy socializing, having fun, and the camaraderie of carrying out the SMART motto, “Seeing the Country We Defend.”
Our Musters are primarily held in Georgia, South Carolina, or North Carolina. Occasionally we venture outside this area. Musters are held every other month beginning in March. (A January muster is not normally held). Somewhere between 15 and 25 rigs attend our musters. Activities include local sightseeing, playing indoor and outdoor games, golf, hiking, dining out, pot luck dinners, informative sessions and most importantly good eating and plenty of it. Please consider joining our Chapter of fun loving and supportive members where prior (or current) military rank or grade, though respected, has no standing.
